Volunteer awareness and fundraising
Youth Engagement
When volunteers raise awareness, what does it look like? Is it a tangible outcome that you can see? For most of us, no. Learn how to better engage youth in awareness and fundraising, by showing them the impact they make.

Kick off your Summer of Fun by volunteering at the PotashCorp Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan. From June 3-6 we will be invading Kiwanis Park South with what is sure to be a fun and exciting event! This years festival features dinosaurs from Australia, a little elephant from Italy, and award-winning artists, dancers, theatre, and music from across Canada.

The festival runs on people power; we need YOU to bring the magic! Volunteer opportunities begin on June 1st and continue to June 6th. We especially need volunteers for our Family Fun Day on Sunday, June 3rd. From face painting to performances and set up to take down, there are opportunities for every schedule, age, and interest. If you have time to spare and a passion for the arts, community, and working with children – the Children’s Festival is looking for you!

Hundreds of volunteers contribute their time and talent to ensure safe and consistent event operation on our festival site. Volunteering at the festival is a great way to meet new people, support the arts and community building, and get involved in one of Saskatoon’s best-loved events.  Volunteering with the festival is an excellent opportunity for students seeking scholarships and looks great on a resume. The festival is happy to sign off and provide recognition of volunteer hours completed.
