My son and I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2009 and in so doing we partnered with Plan Canada to raise money for a well and a school in a neighbouring community. We have raised $25,000 for the two projects. We need $7,000 to finish the well to provide clean water to the Kayenze Preschool in Mwanza, Tanzania. We are hosting a cocktail party at Petit Bill's Bistro in Ottawa on May 18 with a silent auction. A successful event plus some donations will complete the funding for the well.

I would like to bring awareness to the countless of people who do not have access to clean water every day. I want to organizing a fund raiser, where all the proceed will go to building wells in Africa.
