Internship - Communications and Development Coordinator

kids.now is Canada's national charity for youth development. For over a decade, we've been coaching kids to make positive choices by building self-confidence, leadership abilities, and life-success skills through free, in-school, afterschool programs for kids in grades 7 and 8.

kids.now is currently seeking a Communications and Development Coordinator for an internship position (starting in January 2010). The Communications and Development Coordinator will assist the Director of Communications in the planning, development and execution of key communications activities, including media relations, PR, website development, and print collateral to effectively represent the kids.now brand to all stakeholders. This individual will also work with the Director of Development on sponsorship opportunities, and on the planning, development and distribution of funding applications.
