CAMH-Drumming Circle Leaders

We are currently looking for Drum Circle volunteers to facilitate drumming circles with clients at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Through these positions, volunteers have the chance to share their interest in drumming, learn more about mental health and addiction issues, gain practical experience and give back to the community. After completing 80hours or 6 months of volunteering, volunteers will also have free access to a selection of CAMH educational Courses.

Djembe Drums are provided for use in the groups. All Drumming circle leaders will volunteer under the guidance and supervision of CAMH staff.

Requirements:

Over the age of 19
Solid boundaries
Experience with drumming
Passionate about drumming!

Cool

My Dad is a drummer and he has lots of drumming students at U of T that might be interested-- I passed it on to him.
Sounds like a great program.
