Donate Art Work/Materials to Support the Homeless Jaime and Alexandra's 2nd Annual Lemonade and Art Show is looking for art donations to include in its Silent Auction. Paintings, Art Stands, Easels or any art paraphernalia is welcome. Please contact shazohar@yahoo.ca. All proceeds go to Raising the Roof, a charity supporting youth experiencing homelessness in Toronto and across Canada.

Donations need to be received no later than June 25th.

Amanda's Lemonade Stand NEEDS A Big Front Lawn In TORONTO If you can believe it, my Lemonade Stand for the Heart and Stroke Foundation has been on the same lawn for 11 years but suddenly I don't have the front lawn that I have always hosted the event on so we now need a big front lawn in Toronto right away since this year's Amanda's 12th Lemonade Stand and Joshua's 2nd Cookie Counter is coming up on May 16 - without a location!!!!!!
In case you don't know, I'm Amanda and I'm 12 and I've had my Amanda's Lemonade Stand fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation since I was 2. I have raised over $135,000 and now my little brother Joshua is helping with his own Cookie Counter. I hope someone out there can help me continue making a difference in this world, one glass of lemonade at a time. I tell everyone you are never too little to make a big difference. Lemonade and Art Show for the Homeless Jaime's 2nd Annual Lemonade and Art Show will be out again this year raising money for a Toronto homeless charity, Raising the Roof, www.raisingtheroof.org. In order to make this year's art show a success we are looking for art companies, organizations and or/individuals to donate blank canvasses, paints and paint brushes along with other art paraphernalia to the event. Select pieces from the event will be donated to homeless shelters in and around the Toronto area.

Volunteers are also welcome to help set up the event and organize the crowd. Please email shazohar@yahoo.ca if you have any materials/equipment you are able to donate or lend, including your time. The proposed date for the event is Saturday, June 26, 2010

Wetland Care group needs a CANOE to meet our spring goal We are a Wetland Care Group working in the Peterborough county, now in our 7th year. Certified specialists guild us through our seasonal plans. We canoe the wetland areas and remove garbage. We specilaize in the removal of tires. If a canoe needs repair, i can fix it. If you live in the Peterborough area we would be interested in borrowing it. We also require lifevests, garbage bags, gloves, Claw like grabers. If anyone has old paddles even broken, We have an artist that will paint a water scene.
