funding for a Toronto Regional Youth Conference Every year, my church in Markham (marthoma.ca) with the partnership of our Brampton sister parish (marthomachurch.ca) host a long-weekend Youth Conference for youth from our parishes, and across Ontario.

This year, our fundraising target is approximately $6000. However, due to the recent economy downturn and the situation our church was put in at that time, we're finding it hard to raise the needed amount from our members.

I'm looking for local businesses or individuals who'd like to contribute an amount for this purpose.

All donations will be tax-deductible (we are a registered non-profit organization), or we can work out a deal to put your ads in out "culture show/entertainment night" talent show that expect 300+ in audience, in our souvenir booklet, that will reach ALL delegates of the conference and their immediate family, or you can opt to put your ad on our website.

In return, I, personally, am willing to offer a period of technical support services (everything from creating powerpoints to maintaining your website to doing lights/sound/audio at your next event) for free or for great discounts.

Any help is appreciated.

National Mom 2 Mom Sale May 1, 2010 I am coordinating a National Mom 2 Mom Sale (a sale of used children's items by parents to other parents) to break a Guinness World Record and raise over $250,000 for Unity for Autism. How this works is my company Just Playdates pays for the space rental (this is paid back through the money earned from table rental sales) and the rest of the money goes to the Volunteer operating the sale. So individuals or charities looking to make a little money this May can operate a location (anywhere in Canada) get some visibility in their community and be a part of a world record attempt. Please ask me for any more details Laurie 905-662-8727 or info@justplaydates.ca

Donations for unique charity event - 100% tax receipt Set Sail for Hope runs an annual event - gourmet lunch by one of Toronto's top 20 restaurants, followed by a pleasure cruise on a luxury yacht, all for groups of 8 to 10 people.

In exchange we accept donations from Toronto corporations and individuals who want to help a great cause, and experience a truly unique charity event that keeps our sponsors coming back for more each year. Every single dollar we raise goes to the children of Camp Trillium: no exceptions.

Camp Trillium gives you a tax receipt for 100% of your $7500 donation.

Unusual? Yes, in every way! It's an exclusive, high-end event, that you'll never forget.

Event is Friday June 18, 2010, 10am to 5pm. Contact Tina Rogers for details, or if you want to donate.
Donations are also welcome in any amount if you can't attend the event. www.setsailforhope.com

Set Sail for Hope organizing committee We are looking for well-connected Toronto people who can spare a few hours each month to help us help Camp Trillium. Camp Trillium is a childhood cancer centre, helping children with cancer and their families to have great camp experiences and support. For some of these children, it may be their last summer.

Camp Trillium continues to have funding reduced, significantly, and Set Sail for Hope is one major contributor that they have come to rely on.

The Set Sail for Hope committee puts together top restaurants, luxury yacht owners and corporate/individual donors, as well as a host of other supporters, in an annual event that has raised $2 million for Camp Trillium - and every single penny raised goes to the children.

Want to join us?
