Equestrian helping and healing the disabled
A competitive equestrian, ABBEY SIMBROW's life was forever changed when a fall from a horse damaged her back and dashed her dreams. During her long and painful recovery, Abbey's spirits remained high because of her work at C.A.R.D, the Community Association for Riding for the Disabled. Having started as a volunteer at 14, today Abbey serves as the organization's Executive Director. Her commitment and drive to raise money and support for this important cause has had an enormous impact on the lives of countless children and adults living with disabilities.
