ANIL PATEL mixed volunteerism with the Arts and added a twist of corporate sponsorship to launch Timeraiser. A unique auction, people at the event can browse volunteer agencies and choose one that they find relevant and then bid on pieces of art that have been purchased and donated by corporations by pledging volunteer time instead of money! It's a great way to help charities in need while also supporting local artists. What started as a grassroots initiative has grown into an annual event that takes place in cities nationwide. With over 15 events under their belts, $300,000 invested in the careers of emerging local artists and more than 51,000 volunteer hours generated, Timeraiser is the ultimate tool to get people involved!
