Anthony Bailey: Parkdale United Church
Spreading the message of racial reconcilliation
After losing his brother in a racially motivated attack, Anthony Bailey realized he needed to make a choice about how he wanted to spend the rest of his life. Instead of allowing this horrible tragedy to turn him into a man searching for revenge, Anthony joined the United Church, and dedicated himself to spreading the message of racial reconciliation. He has spoken at schools and organizations across the country and he has won numerous awards for his work with children and youth. His mission has also led him to work with communities in the Caribbean, Central America and East Africa. He continues to celebrate diversity and spread his message of respect!
