Brian Crombie: Mississauga Summit
Great minds brainstorm on sustainability, innovation and diversity.
Inspired by the message and achievements of the Toronto Summit, BRIAN CROMBIE brought the idea to Mississauga in 2007. Great thinkers from government, business, education, health and the non-profit communities gathered to brainstorm ideas on sustainability, innovation and diversity. The 2009 Summit featured over 175 leaders from across the community developing task forces and action plans to drive Mississauga's success. It's a perfect example of a city taking responsibility for its own development.
