Gerri Sinclair speaks about a new cross-disciplinary school, bringing together students from all different expertise, to create the interdisciplinary teams that can collaborate to be the future leaders of digital media. Currently, artists and engineers often have trouble communicating. Through real world projects, students learn to work as a member of high impact teams, allowing them to successful enter the world of digital media. The virtual world is becoming increasingly relevant, with a push towards virtual reality games for children and adults a like. These games can become effective tools for developing new skills and experiencing new people and environments.
