Hoax Couture
Canadian designers use their passion for fashion to help in the fight against AIDS.
Meet Jim Searle and Chris Tyrell - the fabulous duo behind the design studio Hoax Couture who share a love for fashion, as well as a desire to give back. Inspired by the work of the Stephen Lewis Foundation, they decided to host a charity fashion show, featuring Canadian designers working with African fabrics. The proceeds for the “Dare to Wear Love” show go to the Foundation to assist African women, particularly grandmothers, and their communities in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
