The Eisens’: TunaHAKI Orphanage
A whole family supporting an African orphanage.
Meet the EISENS: a dentist, a TV producer and 2 teenage girls who, as a family, decided a trip to Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro wasn’t enough. And so they found a small orphanage called TunaHAKI where they volunteered their time and much needed dentistry skills. The experience proved to be a catalyst for the entire family. As soon as they returned, they decided they wanted to do more, and so they started their own not-for-profit to raise money for the orphanage. Within six months of their original trip they plan to visit Africa again and bring along a cheque from their first fundraiser – a volleyball tournament with over 200 supporters that raised $30,441 for their cause.
