Tonya Surman Revisit
Creating a community workspace!
Returning to the story of Tonya Surman and the Centre for Social Innovation. Since we met in 2008, CSI grew to capacity in their building had went on to purchase an additional workspace. The building was bought through an innovative model where money was raised by selling community bonds and the city of Toronto acted as a loan guarantor. This new community workspace continues to incubate emerging enterprises and develop new models and methods with world-changing potential.
