how The Kiwanis Club of North York gets involved

The club raises funds through twice monthly Bingos at Ultimate Bingo, Keele and Lawrence. Members also sell seasonal goods such as Christmas cakes, nuts, shortbread and truffles. Ad hoc fund-raisers are also held from time to time.
The money raised funds programmes and organizations such as the North York General Hospital Kiwanis "Young Moms and Babies" programme, and the Kiwanis Festivals of Music, Speech Arts and Dance. A full list of recipients is on the website.
In addition, members work with groups that support young children, which need manpower for their projects. This ranges from Youth Assisting Youth annual picnic to helping in the classroom at Yorkwoods Public School.
