Volunteer Opportunity

Pueblo’s Science After School program is designed to engage children with science through fun hands-on experiments while maintaining the children’s safety. All the experiments are accompanied with an age appropriate introduction and discussion to stimulate children’s critical thinking, encouraging them to become problem solvers. Moreover, the science concepts covered are related to the children’s daily experiences, demonstrating that science is all around us. We are looking for instructors who are university science students or graduates, experienced with children and can commit to a couple of hours once a week during a school term.
