    About this Opportunity:

    Parasport & Recreation NB, in partnership with Badminton New Brunswick and Badminton Canada, is delivering a free para-badminton clinic. The clinic will be held in Moncton on Saturday, May 12th at Bernice MacNaughton High School from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

    Para-badminton is the parallel sport to badminton. People of all ages and abilities are invited to attend and have the opportunity to receive instruction from Canada Games Coach Eric Boucher. Everyone is encouraged bring friends and family members along and give sit/wheelchair badminton a try! Participants will also have the opportunity to learn basic movement techniques, develop fundamental skills, learn game strategy, get physically active and have fun! Equipment will be provided.

    Parasport & Recreation NB is a provincial program that works with persons with physical disabilities, Provincial Sport Organizations (PSOs), disability organizations, recreation organizations and facilities to build capacity and lead the development and coordination of a system that engages New Brunswickers with physical disabilities in parasport and recreation. Parasport & Recreation NB is managed by a consisting of Ability NB, Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic, Recreation NB & Sport NB.
