About Us

Para Sport & Recreation NB is a provincial program that works with persons with physical disabilities, Provincial Sport Organizations (PSOs), disability organizations, recreation organizations and facilities to build capacity and lead the development and coordination of a system that engages New Brunswickers with physical disabilities in parasport and recreation. Para Sport & Recreation NB is managed by a team consisting of Ability NB, Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic, Recreation NB & Sport NB. The vision of Para Sport & Recreation NB is a high level of involvement of all New Brunswickers in para sport, recreation and active living. The mission of Para Sport & Recreation NB is to lead the development and coordination of a system that engages New Brunswickers with physical disabilities in para sport, recreation and active living. Our primary target populations are New Brunswickers with physical disabilities, sport and recreation organizations, and leaders and coaches. The Para Sport & Recreation NB program goal is to lead the development and coordination of a system that engages New Brunswickers with physical disabilities in para sport, recreation and active living.
