About Us
Formed in 1997, The Victoria Park Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ) is a not-for-profit association that represents more than 300 merchants and businesses in the community of Victoria Park. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the BRZ works to promote and improve the area, and is an advocate for important community issues. Our vision is to maintain our unique heritage while evolving into a world class urban community in which businesses thrive and prosper, and to become a destination area for Calgarians and Citizens of the World to enjoy. Our mission is to advocate for change and development that creates a high quality urban environment for all. The BRZ communicates, coordinates and collaborates with key stakeholders and interest groups to affect positive social, environmental and economic development.
How To Get Involved With Us
The 3rd annual Haultain and First Street Festival will take place on Sunday, September 11, from 11am to 5pm. It is a celebration of community, sustainability and the urban experience. The Victoria Park BRZ is looking for volunteers to help with various aspects of this event to ensure a fun, safe, day for all attendees.
