DENNIS HARRISON lives and works on a farm that has been in his family for four generations. Until recently, he practiced the feedlot farming, where animals are confined to small spaces and fed heavy doses of antibiotics and hormones. After BSE hit in early 2000, Dennis and his wife Denise decided to reassess their practices and get back to basics. They put their herd out to pasture and eliminated all chemicals. Now their beef, pork, lamb, chicken and duck at Dingo Farms are 100% organically raised and in high demand from businesses and restaurants.
