Sam Dorman is a technology and management strategist who helps organizations broaden and deepen their constituent relationships using technology and the Internet. As a lead convener of the Web of Change conference, he is situated at the center of the movement focused on creating meaningful community and impact over the Internet. He is currently leading an initiative for the UN AIDS Commission in Geneva, developing a social network to break down barriers of access and knowledge at all levels of the extensive global HIV/AIDS effort.
Sam brings a strategic and comprehensive approach to his work, together with strong creative vision and an understanding of diverse target audiences. Sam previously served as Managing Director of the League of Young Voters, a national youth political empowerment organization, where he also created and ran the organization's innovative online engagement programs. He also worked at MoveOn PAC during the 2004 election and as a trainer and facilitator for the Posse Foundation, an innovative scholarship program that helped develop powerful young leaders identified in non-traditional ways succeed at top-tier universities.
