Youth Engagement
When volunteers raise awareness, what does it look like? Is it a tangible outcome that you can see? For most of us, no. Learn how to better engage youth in awareness and fundraising, by showing them the impact they make.

A great idea for an even greater cause.

Two hockey players playing road hockey across a photoshopped background of Toronto's downtown with one side at "dusk" time, and other side at "dawn" time.

On October 1, prepare yourself for one of the biggest fundraising events in Toronto, the Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer tournament!

Five games, hundreds of teams, thousands of participants, fans and volunteers – all coming together with a common goal, to conquer cancer in our lifetime.

Known as a “dusk-to-dawn” fundraising event, will feature more then just hockey. Players and fan will enjoy musical acts, celebrity appearances, activities and food and beverages!

Not only are players donating their time (and their pucks skills), but each team also starts a fundraising campaign to donate to the foundation. Net proceeds from the event are donated to The Princess Margaret Hospital and The Canadian Cancer Society with one mission: conquer cancer in our lifetime.

Players are provided with tons of support from the Road Hockey organization – training sessions before the games, coach assistance, fundraising packages and support throughout the event.

So sign up your beer league team, your buddies from the neighbourhood, your gal pals or your family for a day of hockey, fundraising and fun!

Players who sign up now receive a special promotion deal and can register for only $25. But HURRY, registration closes September 6th.
